Sustainable Financing Options for Nature-Based Solutions in n Papua New Guinea

Greetings from the UNDP Papua New Guinea. 

Please be informed that UNDP PNG published a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the provision of  SUSTAINABLE FINANCING OPTIONS FOR NATURE-BASED SOLUTIONS IN PAPUA NEW GUINEA.

The purpose of this consultancy is to undertake a comprehensive analysis of sustainable financing instruments suitable for supporting nature-based solutions in PNG.

The analysis will consider a range of options, including but not limited to debt-for-nature swaps, green and blue bonds, policy-based loans, impact investment mechanisms, and blended finance approaches. The aim is to identify the most suitable financing instrument(s) that align with PNGs specific circumstances, development priorities, and long-term sustainability goals.

***As UNDP has moved to an Oracle Cloud ERP (QUANTUM). Quantum is replacing the previous e-Tendering System for bidders to participate in business opportunities with UNDP. In order to facilitate the transition and better collaborate on the move to Quantum, UNDP PNG Procurement Unit will conduct a training session on Quantum for the bidders during the pre-proposal meeting. ***
