In addition ad hoc support for other budget management and reporting requirements as the need arises.Activities under this consultancyThe following activities are required under this contract:- In collaboration with the department director and resource mobilization team, write proposals for grant renewal, additional funding or no cost extensions- Working with the focal points in UNAIDS, monitor objective-specific budgets, track expenditures, write reports and create presentations summarizing progress and achievements toward the award objectives- Develop a dashboard to summarize expenditure levels and alert staff when funding is not spent in a timely manner- Work with the resource mobilization team to ensure compliance with grant regulations and guidelines.- Identify potential risks associated with grant implementation and work with focal points, department director and resource mobilization team to mitigate them.- Support focal points to develop and manage contracts under the USAID award- Other analyses and tasks as needed on budget management and fund raisingThe consultancy will commence on countersignature and run for one year (e.g. 1 October 2023 to 30 September 2024) with the option for continuation for an additional year upon satisfactory completion of initial contract and availability of funds.
